Ingredients
For the cupcakes:
- Two packets of Gulab Jamun (you can find them in Indian stores)
- One cup of condensed milk
- One teaspoon of cardamom powder
- Half a cup of oil
- One cup of all-purpose flour
For the Gulkand frosting:
- Half a cup of butter
- One and a half cup of icing sugar
- One teaspoon of cardamom powder
- Two tablespoons of Gulkand (you can find this at an Indian store)
Instructions
For the cupcakes:
- Gently open the packets of Gulab Jamun and put them in a bowl.
- Pour the condensed milk, cardamom powder and oil over them and mix well.
- Mix in the all-purpose flour until it is nicely combined.
- Divide the mixture into cupcake moulds and bake at 180C for 30 minutes.
For the Gulkand frosting:
- In a bowl, cream together butter, icing sugar and cardamom powder until light and fluffy.
- Add in the Gulkand and mix until it is completely combined.
- Spread this mixture over the cupcakes and your Gulab Jamun Cupcakes with Gulkand Frosting are ready to be served!
